In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Colon De Santa Fe's goalkeeper Mario Sedeni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dolores's Paulo Mel got a free kick in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Padro in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Sedeni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Oro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mario Sedeni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Paulo Indalecio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Flor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 31 played minutes Dolores got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Oro. Mario Sedeni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Oro in the 37th minute of the match. Ignacio Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Sedeni having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Padro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Sedeni was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Padro was the one to do the kick off. Dolores's Nemesio Neto was substituted for Benigno Dacio. In the 85th match minute, Dolores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, C. A. Colon De Santa Fe's Mario Sedeni got control of the ball when Severo Roldan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of C. A. Colon De Santa Fe booed when Dolores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Oro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dolores played a much better game than C. A. Colon De Santa Fe and deserved their victory. The C. A. Colon De Santa Fe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
