Ragnar Forsman took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Milian. Jonas Milian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 20th minute of the match, Victorio Aresti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge Gorri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonas Milian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jonas Milian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GER FC booed when Los Araucanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Milian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half GER FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Los Araucanos made a substitution. Miguel Eliazar replaced Victorio Aresti. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Damario to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Eliazar struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jorge Gorri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Araucanos . GER FC's Ragnar Forsman got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Los Araucanos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Carolo Oliverios hit a great ball. Los Araucanos 's Jonas Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Busk in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Teo Damario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Milian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ragnar Forsman went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jonas Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Busk in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, GER FC's Teo Damario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonas Milian. Jonas Milian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Araucanos 's goalkeeper Jonas Milian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Los Araucanos 's goalkeeper Jonas Milian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ragnar Forsman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ragnar Forsman got free with Jonas Milian in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornelio Menendo hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The GER FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GER FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
