Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nemesio Betadur kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Nueva Chicago's Adolfo Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Abaurre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arnaldo Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Izydor Naujasodis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Union de Santa Fe's Gustavo Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Severo in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Izydor Naujasodis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Chepe. Arnaldo Chepe struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Izydor Naujasodis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union de Santa Fe. Nueva Chicago's Izydor Naujasodis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Suero in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Union de Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Betadur to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Abaurre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Severo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Arnaldo Chepe struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Izydor Naujasodis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union de Santa Fe. In the 33rd minute, Herminio Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Carmelo Aurken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Izydor Naujasodis. Nueva Chicago's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Aurken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Carmelo Ramirez took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Abaurre. Gustavo Abaurre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Gustavo Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Izydor Naujasodis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Chepe in the 66th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ildefonso Quinito in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Union de Santa Fe's Carmelo Aurken. 68 minutes into the match, Union de Santa Fe's Arnaldo Chepe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izydor Naujasodis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Adolfo Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Lázaro Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Severo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Abaurre. That made the score 1-4 in the 73 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Anselmo Matai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Union de Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Severo came free, but Gustavo Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Arnaldo Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Naujasodis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Chepe came free, but Izydor Naujasodis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Carmelo Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Orixe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Chepe in the 90th minute of play forced Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Izydor Naujasodis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Matai got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abel Mateo. Izydor Naujasodis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Chepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nueva Chicago eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
