The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match Basilio Ritchie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Millan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 de Octubre's Primitivo Peli got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 de Octubre's Gonzalo Lugo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Lugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Dufaur's zone, Felipe Cordarrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Millan came out of the goal and Felipe Cordarrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Peli in the 23rd minute of the match. Leonides Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Artemio Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 de Octubre's Artemio Ilixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Abreu in the 31st minute of play. Club Atlético Dufaur's Tobias Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Peli in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Primitivo Peli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Dufaur's Higinio Valentine got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Higinio Valentine's late challenge caught a 18 de Octubre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Valentine helped the player get up and apologised. Higinio Valentine kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Abreu to make the kick off. If Primitivo Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Ilixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Abreu in the 59th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Primitivo Peli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 18 de Octubre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Abreu got free with Artemio Ilixo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matias Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Ilixo having to interfere. A collision led to 18 de Octubre getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Felipe Cordarrel hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the 18 de Octubre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
