Emanuel Hurko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Silvio Goyo made a huge save. With a little luck, Once Unidos's Silvio Goyo got control of the ball when Emanuel Hurko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Once Sillas AC's Raimundo Macias got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Once Unidos's Melquiades Janpier made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Tirso was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Once Unidos's Silvio Goyo got control of the ball when Emanuel Hurko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute Adriana Cai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Once Unidos booed when Once Sillas AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Felipillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Bonadona in the 24th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Virgilio Tiniebra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Tirso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ezequiel Behe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Tirso having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Melquiades Janpier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Gitano Zaldivar in the 46th minute really tested Silvio Goyo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Behe was the one to do the kick off. Federico Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Behe in the 57th minute of play. With 60 minutes on the clock, Emilio Rencio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Once Sillas AC booed when Once Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriana Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Ciro Bonadona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Federico Tirso. Ciro Bonadona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Patricio Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Federico Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adriana Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Once Unidos's Silvio Goyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Victoro in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Once Sillas AC booed when Once Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Eyague didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Mauricio Victoro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvio Goyo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Virgilio Tiniebra charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Tiniebra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Virgilio Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes, Melquiades Janpier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Once Unidos and the Once Sillas AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Once Unidos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Once Sillas AC throughout the match.
