The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicanor Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Comahue Sporting were furious when Zacarias Fonso was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Comahue Sporting:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Traili:s goal. A collision led to Comahue Sporting getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Florencio Quintun hit a great ball. Genaro Balasi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damaso Iratzeder. Comahue Sporting's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute, Evaristo Karmel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damaso Iratzeder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 18 minutes into the game, Casimiro Ramond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Traili's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comahue Sporting the free kick. Godfredo Gagriel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Amador Fe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Damaso Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Bieito in the 22nd minute of play. Roque Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Damaso Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Nicanor Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Damaso Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Bieito in the 28th minute of play. Comahue Sporting's Damaso Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Bieito in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Traili getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ramone Ballesteros hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Casimiro Ramond shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damaso Iratzeder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Damaso Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Karmel in the 39th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Evaristo Karmel took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Iratzeder. Damaso Iratzeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With his leg Damaso Iratzeder managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Traili's Roque Bieito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Comahue Sporting booed when Traili was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ Mcgrath didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Edelmiro Eleder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comahue Sporting's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Eleder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Fe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Amador Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Casimiro Ramond from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Damaso Iratzeder's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Damaso Iratzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Karmel in the 67th minute of the match. Damaso Iratzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Karmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godfredo Gagriel's late challenge caught a Traili's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Gagriel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute Godfredo Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Traili played a much better game than Comahue Sporting and deserved their victory. The Comahue Sporting players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
