The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Txatxu got free with Marco Vitin in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in EL CICLON RELOAD's zone, Hernan Txatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Vitin came out of the goal and Hernan Txatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Abbott AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EL CICLON RELOAD throughout the match.
