In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Metrópolis City's goalkeeper Jonatan Venerando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Chucuma AFC's Enrique Laurendi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonatan Venerando. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Enrique Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Venerando having to interfere. With 55 minutes on the clock, Damaso Ostargi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Chucuma AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Chucuma AFC booed when Metrópolis City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Fernan Demario dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeo Piarres, 1-2. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metrópolis City's goalkeeper Jonatan Venerando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enrique Laurendi struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jonatan Venerando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chucuma AFC. In the 92nd match minute, Chucuma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Oto to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of Metrópolis City echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Chucuma AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
