Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) VeGeTaL's Federico Orlin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaudencio Perfecto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Elorri having to interfere. Cecilio Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Arias came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Collagasta's Cecilio Farias. But to his dismay, Cecilio Farias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A hard shot by Luciano Baristo from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Joaquin Arias's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 26th minute, Joel Guillem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carolo Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Guillem in the 35th minute of play. When VeGeTaL's Federico Orlin in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Collagasta's goalie prevented a goal. If Gaudencio Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Federico Orlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Elorri was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Perfecto was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Gaudencio Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Collagasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Perfecto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, VeGeTaL's Raimundo Lopes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Federico Orlins short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Carolo Elorri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Cecilio Farias came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Collagasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Farias couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Federico Orlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Perfecto in the 68th minute of the match. If Federico Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Orlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Luciano Baristo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute VeGeTaL were awarded a corner. Zoltán Fenyvessy went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Urbano Frasco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Collagasta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
