Braulio Kiliz struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Adriana Restu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Alberto Hurtado. Leon Weeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Unax having to interfere. When Leon Weeks came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ibicuy F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Weeks couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Hulberto during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcial Hulberto kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, one of Ibicuy F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute, Leon Weeks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Heli in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in San Alberto Hurtado's zone, Anastasio Rik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Unax came out of the goal and Anastasio Rik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Antonio Cordeara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriana Restu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Veronica kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Cordeara was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ibicuy F.C. booed when San Alberto Hurtado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Emanuel Qwinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Alberto Hurtado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibicuy F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Ibicuy F.C. booed when San Alberto Hurtado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Qwinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Antonio Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Rik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Celso Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Ibicuy F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Denis Ederono. With his leg Adriana Restu managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when San Alberto Hurtado's Antonio Cordeara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adriana Restu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ibicuy F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
