Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Funes's Ludomir Ziemniak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Coiruro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Lluques to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remo Diniz during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remo Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes in the game, Ludomir Ziemniak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alejo Froila having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Coiruro AFC's zone, Ludomir Ziemniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Froila came out of the goal and Ludomir Ziemniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejo Froila stood somewhat misplaced when Ludomir Ziemniak came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. The supporters of Funes booed when Coiruro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludomir Ziemniak struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Alejo Froila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Tino in the 29th minute of play forced Funes's goalkeeper Gaston Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Funes defense, Mauricio Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Nicholas. The Funes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Nicholas should have stopped the shot. Benedicto Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Froila having to interfere. When Funes's Ludomir Ziemniak in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coiruro AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute Ludomir Ziemniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Anaya was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 48th match minute, Coiruro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Anaya to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Tino to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rodrigo Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Coiruro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Quinteros to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alejo Froila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Gaston Nicholas managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Coiruro AFC's Florencio Tino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The long shot by Lorenzo Quinteros in the 74th minute really tested Gaston Nicholas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Florencio Tino struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Gaston Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coiruro AFC. A sloppy throw-in by Lorenzo Quinteros in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Funes's Hernan Berbiz. In the 79th minute, Ludomir Ziemniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Florencio Tino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coiruro AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 83 minutes, Ludomir Ziemniak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Funes and the Coiruro AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Funes getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ludomir Ziemniak hit a great ball. When Ludomir Ziemniak came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Funes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomir Ziemniak couldn't finish the play. Gaston Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Tino in the 92nd minute. If Eduardo Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coiruro AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Funes's much stronger midfield.
