Maurício Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pucará's Pedro Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Geleberto in the 14th minute of play. Pedro Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Geleberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Maurício Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Geleberto got free with Pedro Melo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ClubAtleticoBocaJuniors's Claudio Lucero managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anibal Jurdan in the 20 minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Santo Niva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Melo. The goal made the score 1-1. Carlos Acosta hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Romeo Geleberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 33rd minute of the match Anacleto Feliu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Matia skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Pucará booed when ClubAtleticoBocaJuniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pucará getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Celestino Sanchez hit a great ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Romeo Geleberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pucará's Pedro Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santo Niva struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Pedro Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ClubAtleticoBocaJuniors. Pedro Melo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Romeo Geleberto sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Maurício Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Matia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 47 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Niva came free, but Pedro Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 51 played minutes Pucará got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Acosta. Federico Gelacio's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Pedro Melo - 3-2 was put on the score board in the 52nd minute. Pedro Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 胡鹰彬 in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute Romeo Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, ClubAtleticoBocaJuniors's Santo Niva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Maurício Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Matia having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Romeo Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ClubAtleticoBocaJuniors's zone, Zé Carlos Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Matia came out of the goal and Zé Carlos Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Primitivo Lucado put in a rough tackle. Federico Gelacio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Amancio Raulo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Erubiel Matia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos Albuquerque in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes Pucará got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Carvalho. The referee showed Federico Gelacio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ClubAtleticoBocaJuniors's Federico Gelacio got a free kick in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ClubAtleticoBocaJuniors fully deserved thier win.
