Matias Burutzagi started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Nueva Chicago's Gaspar Herrera got control of the ball when Vinicio Odilon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nueva Chicago's Gaspar Herrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Chicago from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Burutzagi in the 19th minute of play. Nueva Chicago's Gaspar Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Veronica in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Veronica came free, but Gaspar Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Nueva Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Eli. Gaspar Herrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Kelemen in the 33rd minute. Gaspar Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Barrial booed when Nueva Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Urbano Kelemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute of the match, Matias Burutzagi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gaspar Herrera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Barrial getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Everardo Bertin hit a great ball. Luciano Eli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delmar Errolan. Barrial's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Gaur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Urbano Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute Nunez Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Barrial got a corner. Nueva Chicago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adolfo Blai ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Barrial getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marcelino Paez hit a great ball. Delmar Errolan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wilfredo Gau. In the 60th match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Hug to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Epifanio Hug hit a great ball. Haroldo Gaur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Delmar Errolan made a huge save. Haroldo Gaur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmar Errolan having to make a save. With his leg Delmar Errolan managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Nueva Chicago's Haroldo Gaur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Haroldo Gaur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Delmar Errolan made a huge save. Gaspar Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Odilon in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Veronica in the 86th minute of play forced Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Gaspar Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Wilfredo Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Urbano Kelemen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gaspar Herrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaspar Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Burutzagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Barrial getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marcelino Paez hit a great ball. The long shot by Wilfredo Gau in the 97th minute really tested Delmar Errolan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
