Dinamo Dresden's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Prudencio Orlo 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 43rd minute Daniel Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Gabriel Serafo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dinamo Dresden and the Aston Wilde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Bala in the 69th minute of play forced Dinamo Dresden's goalkeeper Emanuel Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, one of Aston Wilde FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aston Wilde FC. The goalkeeper, Alvaro Celio, was totally fooled by Dinamo Dresden's Isidro Udalaitz, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 77 minutes into the match, Aston Wilde FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Celio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Erik Hammarström. Prudencio Orlo took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Txeru. Emanuel Txeru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 89 minutes into the game, Aston Wilde FC's Cristo Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Txeru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. In the 93rd minute Prudencio Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
