The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Prospero Tello put in a rough tackle. 12 minutes into the match, Wanda's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Sanchez came free, but Esteve Gomesano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Baldomiro Frechoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Frechoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Gomesano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Chuse in the 17th minute of play forced RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Hermengildo Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN's Hermengildo Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Chuse in the 20th minute of play. Wanda's Esteve Gomesano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Frechoso in the 26th minute of play. If Baldomiro Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Roman Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermengildo Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN's attentive Dante Batista managed to snatch the ball when Placido Gonsalvo made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Baldomiro Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Esteve Gomesano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Rodrigo Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Wanda got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Navarro. After 43 played minutes, RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN's Alfredo Cordarryl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Gomesano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomiro Frechoso to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Frechoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Esteve Gomesano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Baldomiro Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Wanda got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Jokin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Frechoso in the 74th minute of play forced Wanda's goalkeeper Esteve Gomesano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Roman Erlantz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hermengildo Marin. The goal made the score 1-2. When Alfredo Cordarryl fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN's protests and gave Alfredo Cordarryl a yellow card for diving instead. Roman Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hermengildo Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Erlantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Chuse in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Marin saved RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN from getting behind. Roman Erlantz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Wanda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gilberto Chuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Marin having to interfere. The RIVADAVIA DE JUNÍN manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Wanda to win.
