In the 21stth minute of the game Prospero Urdaspal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yuchán FC's Clodoveo Ursino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ibarlucea AFC's Abel Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ibarlucea AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Jacindo got free with Abel Cordeal in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Yuchán FC's Nemesio Cefero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Cordeal. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. In the 35th minute Nemesio Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Clodoveo Ursino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Urdaspal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Jerardo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benito Ayala scored 1-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clodoveo Ursino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clodoveo Ursino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Leoncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alejandro Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Leoncio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alejandro Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Abel Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Ursino having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match, Victorino Leoncio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clodoveo Ursino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
