The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Lamberto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Berdoi, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Leandro Todor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Lamberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Berdoi. Maximiliano Lamberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Club Colón de San Justo's Celestino Illart suffered a sore thigh after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 23 minutes into the game, Omar Patrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locura Cordobesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Colón de San Justo the free kick. Club Colón de San Justo made a substitution. Fulgencio Musko replaced Celestino Illart. Omar Patrido hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jean Recife received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Berdoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Jean Recife slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Lamberto in the 32nd minute of play forced Locura Cordobesa's goalkeeper Samuel Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Bazkoare in the 36th minute of play forced Club Colón de San Justo's goalkeeper Jon Spagnol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Bittencourt struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jon Spagnol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locura Cordobesa. In the 47th minute, Maximiliano Lamberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Berdoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Bazkoare made a kick off. Samuel Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jon Spagnol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Bazkoare in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Bazkoare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Spagnol was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When Maximiliano Lamberto fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Colón de San Justo's protests and gave Maximiliano Lamberto a yellow card for diving instead. Maximiliano Lamberto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Federico Herena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jon Spagnol made a huge save. Samuel Berdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Lamberto in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Todor in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Berdoi saved Locura Cordobesa from getting behind. 90 minutes into the game, Club Colón de San Justo's Eleuterio Olando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Berdoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Jon Spagnol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Frasco in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, one of Club Colón de San Justo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Colón de San Justo. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Locura Cordobesa's Virgilio Frasco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jon Spagnol. Club Colón de San Justo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
