Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eleuterio Quexal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maximiliano Tancredo struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Ovidio Pacifico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maruchas. Octavio Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ramon Argina scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavio Matia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Mummy's Ovidio Pacifico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save The Mummy from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Maruchas defense, Ramon Argina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Matia. The Maruchas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Matia should have stopped the shot. Octavio Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Argina in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Quexal got free with Ovidio Pacifico in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eleuterio Quexal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Ovidio Pacifico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Octavio Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Reynaldo Javiero kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Haroldo Ferran charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Ferran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Haroldo Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wieslaw Chlapowski to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Ramon Argina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Octavio Matia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Wieslaw Chlapowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicki Gammelby during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Mummy made a substitution. Genaro Cordero replaced Ramon Argina. A collision led to Maruchas getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nicki Gammelby hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Maruchas's Eleuterio Quexal got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ovidio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Quexal in the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Quexal in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Pacifico saved The Mummy from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Vicente Atarratze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maruchas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Mummy the free kick. After 68 played minutes Maruchas got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Atarratze. Octavio Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Montrel in the 70th minute of play. When Eleuterio Quexal fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maruchas's protests and gave Eleuterio Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Eleuterio Quexal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Cordero in the 75th minute of play forced Maruchas's goalkeeper Octavio Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eleuterio Quexal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Eleuterio Quexal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Pacifico was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Montrel in the 89th minute of play forced Maruchas's goalkeeper Octavio Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Maruchas's Eleuterio Quexal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Pacifico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Genaro Cordero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavio Matia. Genaro Cordero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Mummy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
