Dante Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luquitas FC's Guillermo Firmin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luquitas FC's Gavino Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Olivar in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Luquitas FC defense, Dante Olivar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Tiso. The Luquitas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Tiso should have stopped the shot. Gavino Tiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Guillermo Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luquitas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Firmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luquitas FC's Gavino Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Quirce in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Gualterio Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matheu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luquitas FC's Gavino Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Olivar in the 33rd minute of play. Gavino Tiso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Tiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Olivar made a kick off. Dante Olivar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 56th minute, Enrique Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Jonathan Chabier suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Luquitas FC made a substitution. Urbano Kiliz replaced Jonathan Chabier. In the 61st minute, Enrique Quirce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Gualterio Papo rounded Luquitas FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Luquitas FC's Gavino Tiso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Luquitas FC from getting a goal against them. Gualterio Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Tiso having to interfere. In the 91st minute Enrique Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Matheu booed when Luquitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Kiliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
