The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Irrintzi got free with Celestino Selatse in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulises Lucero made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Castelar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unai Manguyague to maneuver through the defense. Castelar AFC's Celestino Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Lucero in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Castelar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Acuña came free, but Celestino Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Los pibes de Moreno were the better team. Los pibes de Moreno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
