Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antonio Polentzi started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Vargas in the 4th minute of play forced Quenomá FC's goalkeeper Felipe Orlondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Vargas in the 15th minute of the match. Santiago Calisto was a little too slow when Antonio Polentzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Octavio Manny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Orlondo. Quenomá FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Manny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Felipe Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Virgilio Matei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anzoátegui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quenomá FC the free kick. Felipe Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Vargas in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Polentzi in the 38th minute of play forced Anzoátegui's goalkeeper Santiago Calisto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Anzoátegui getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nicolas Eufrasio hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Antonio Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Calisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jimeno Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Vargas in the 47th minute of play forced Quenomá FC's goalkeeper Felipe Orlondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Manny to make the kick off. Octavio Manny had several of the Quenomá FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Felipe Orlondo as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 58th minute, Antonio Polentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Polentzi struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Santiago Calisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quenomá FC. Santiago Calisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Polentzi in the 61st minute of the match. Antonio Polentzi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Santiago Calisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quenomá FC. In the 69th match minute, Anzoátegui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Manny to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Polentzi in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Calisto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Octavio Manny, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 72 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Felipe Orlondo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Octavio Manny was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Anzoátegui's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 81st minute Octavio Manny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Damaso Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Quenomá FC got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Arixo. After a defensive mix-up in Quenomá FC's zone, Dante Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Orlondo came out of the goal and Dante Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Quenomá FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anzoátegui's performance. The match ended with a win for Anzoátegui.
