Rodrigo Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Oinaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes of play, Sportivo Godzuky's Tomas Oinaz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Estrellas del Sur's Paulino Cordario got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute Tomas Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Sedeni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Paulino Cordario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Sedeni. Sportivo Godzuky's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Cordario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rodrigo Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Oinaz in the 22nd minute of play. Adriana Koldobika took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Umbruso. Rodrigo Umbruso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jacinto da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 43 minutes into the match, Estrellas del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Endura came free, but Rodrigo Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Sportivo Godzuky's Tomas Oinaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Umbruso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Cordario made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Estrellas del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Oinaz came free, but Rodrigo Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriana Koldobika in the 54th minute of play. Mauro Terciero hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Tomas Oinaz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodrigo Umbruso, passed just outside the right post. Rodrigo Umbruso was a little too slow when Adriana Koldobika got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Oinaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodrigo Umbruso. That made the score 1-6 in the 85 minute of play. Paulino Cordario got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Estrellas del Sur getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Paulino Cordario hit a great ball.
