Arnoldo D´Etigny placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 19th minute Juan Eder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Txartiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Jacinto Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Rústicos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Corderun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Jenaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Veremundo in the 45th minute of play forced Los Rústicos F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabio Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Eder was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Dionisio Veremundo sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Fabio Txartiko showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Fabio Txartiko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Felo during the 76th minute.
