But to his dismay, Isaac Rufio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eriberto Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of METALLICA booed when Depo Beltràn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Oinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Gaspar Azibar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Depo Beltràn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave METALLICA the free kick. Delmar Franco's late challenge caught a Depo Beltràn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Franco helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes METALLICA got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Franco. After 32 played minutes Depo Beltràn got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Orzaize. Eriberto Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Franco in the 37th minute of play forced Depo Beltràn's goalkeeper Eriberto Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Bernardo Montel made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Damaso Pabla made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. METALLICA's Jaime Paulin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Paulin having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Douglas Bäcklin notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of METALLICA's Jaime Paulin. Jaime Paulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Depo Beltràn booed when METALLICA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Platon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Depo Beltràn lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
