In the 25th minute Ruperto Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ruperto Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Ruperto Heriberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Felo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Telesforo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Luciano Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Villegas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Garci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Villegas getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Likourgos Dimitriou hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Matthew was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ruperto Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Villegas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Heriberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernabe Ostargi came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by VERDULERIA EL BOLITA's Domingos Napier. But to his dismay, Domingos Napier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of VERDULERIA EL BOLITA booed when Club Atletico Villegas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Felo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Telesforo having to interfere. A collision led to VERDULERIA EL BOLITA getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Domingos Napier hit a great ball. Ruperto Heriberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Telesforo having to make a save. Luciano Garci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Ruperto Heriberto put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Esteve Telesforo. In the 94th minute, Domingos Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Luciano Garci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteve Telesforo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
