Benjamin Aurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Manole in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Benjamin Pueblo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Enekoitz. Emma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Pueblo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 24th match minute, Emma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Ubendu to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Enekoitz was a little too slow when Benjamin Pueblo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, Emma's goalkeeper Anselmo Enekoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Pueblo. Anselmo Enekoitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Trifon Tsouloufas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 34 minute of play. A collision led to FC Sporting de Río Cuarto getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Trifon Tsouloufas hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes FC Sporting de Río Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Tsouloufas. After a defensive mix-up in Emma's zone, Eloy Nuxila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Enekoitz came out of the goal and Eloy Nuxila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 54 played minutes Emma got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Porfiro. 57 minutes into the match, Benjamin Pueblo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Emma's Anselmo Enekoitz. Anselmo Enekoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anselmo Enekoitz came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Sporting de Río Cuarto's Vladimiro Tirso. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Tirso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 66th minute, Arthur Aron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Benjamin Pueblo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Enekoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Benjamin Aurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Manole in the 83rd minute of play. Anselmo Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trifon Tsouloufas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Anselmo Enekoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Aron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Benjamin Pueblo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Enekoitz. Emma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Pueblo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. The supporters of Emma booed when FC Sporting de Río Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Vistruario didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Sporting de Río Cuarto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
