Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tytus Frodyma took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Naldo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Vergaray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Larsen FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Laureano Frantzes hit a great ball. Andréas Apelquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Dimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Clorinda's Ovidio Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Dimo in the 28th minute of play forced Larsen FC's goalkeeper Andréas Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Marcial Magdaleno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Florentino Vergaray, passed just outside the right post. Larsen FC's Tytus Frodyma was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tytus Frodyma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larsen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tytus Frodyma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Vergaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Magdaleno got free with Florentino Vergaray in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidio Dimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Vergaray was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Naldo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Dimo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Clorinda booed when Larsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Magdaleno in the 59th minute of play. Florentino Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andréas Apelquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Osoro in the 68th minute. Rigoberto Osoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Andréas Apelquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Florentino Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Marcial Magdaleno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentino Vergaray was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Rigoberto Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes Clorinda got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Peter. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Frodyma in the 93rd minute of play forced Clorinda's goalkeeper Florentino Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Osoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Andréas Apelquist made a huge save. Clorinda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
