The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reynaldo Leobardo's late challenge caught a Sanavirones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Leobardo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Suripujio's Reynaldo Leobardo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Federico Caetano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Israel Goito made a huge save. In the 19th match minute, Sanavirones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Todor to maneuver through the defense. Federico Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Jairo Abilio made a precise shot to the right of Israel Goito. Suripujio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Jairo Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Suripujio defense, Federico Caetano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Goito. The Suripujio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Goito should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Jairo Abilio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Israel Goito, passed just outside the right post. Federico Caetanos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Israel Goito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Suripujio's Israel Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Abilio in the 46th minute of play. Federico Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Gonzales was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Sanavirones booed when Suripujio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Caetano might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Goito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Caetano ran back to his position shaking his head. Israel Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Abilio in the 60th minute of the match. Jairo Abilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Israel Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cosme Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jairo Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanavirones's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Abilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Goito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Abilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Israel Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Goito having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Sanavirones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Iraido to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Baristo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Tobias Bermudez sent off a good shot on target. Israel Goito came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanavirones's Federico Caetano. But to his dismay, Federico Caetano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Reynaldo Leobardo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Cleto Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Baristo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Bermudez in the 88th minute. After 91 played minutes Suripujio got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Leobardo. 93 minutes into the game, Igor Todor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanavirones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suripujio the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Sanavirones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Todor to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Tobias Bermudez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Baristo. Sanavirones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Bermudez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Sanavirones walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
