MatiUnited's Carmelo Inko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save MatiUnited from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Faustino Llope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juan Turi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Turi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Boniel in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Ramon Kinsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Turi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Felix Boniel scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Turi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ambil's zone, Ramon Kinsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Turi came out of the goal and Ramon Kinsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Luisito Ihintza hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Mogel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Turi. Ambil's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 minutes, Ramon Kinsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MatiUnited and the Ambil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MatiUnited's Ramon Kinsen got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Boniel to strike the kick off in the second half.
