Cayetano Cefero charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cayetano Cefero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Constituyentes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Cefero to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Cayetano Cefero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Hitz. Cayetano Cefero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Sorrento's Nicasio Iratxo got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Moncho Gonzalez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Constituyentes's Armando Qwinton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benicio Oriol charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Oriol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benicio Oriol hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Gavino Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Constituyentes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Marcones to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Marcones hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Moncho Gonzalez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Qwinton having to make a save. Guido Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Qwinton having to interfere. In the 45th minute Teodoro Lizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Qwinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes Constituyentes got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Cefero.

In the 55th minute, Adrian Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Qwinton made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Moncho Gonzalez sent off a good shot on target. If Teodoro Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodoro Lizar might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Qwinton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Lizar ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sorrento booed when Constituyentes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tiburcio Marcones came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Constituyentes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Marcones couldn't finish the play. After 80 played minutes Constituyentes got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Tirso. Igor Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Qwinton having to interfere. Armando Qwinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Marz in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sorrento had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
