Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Norberto Diegotxe got the match started through his kick off. When Miguel Belmiro fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tijuana FC's protests and gave Miguel Belmiro a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Belmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Higuerita's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Rodriguez came free, but Igor Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Tijuana FC's Norberto Diegotxe got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play, Tijuana FC's Cristobal Rodriguez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Higuerita's Silvio Checa got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tijuana FC's Haroldo Abar got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselmo Guillelme hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Norberto Diegotxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Cristobal Rodriguez made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Higuerita's Igor Reyes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tijuana FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Angel Santio 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvio Checa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Higuerita's Igor Reyes got control of the ball when Norberto Diegotxe tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Norberto Diegotxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Higuerita's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Abar came free, but Igor Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvio Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Raitin having to interfere. Tijuana FC's Santiago Raitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Santio in the 68th minute of play. Norberto Diegotxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Igor Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tijuana FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Miguel Belmiro hit a great ball. Erasmo Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Diegotxe got free with Igor Reyes in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes, Angel Santio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuerita and the Tijuana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Higuerita got a freekick which was hit by Santo Urre. 78 minutes into the match, Tijuana FC's Remigio Aznar shot a high long ball. Higuerita's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. The long shot by Leandro Baleren in the 80th minute really tested Igor Reyes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Tijuana FC got a corner. Higuerita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remigio Aznar ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Haroldo Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Haroldo Abar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tijuana FC and the Higuerita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvio Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Tijuana FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Higuerita.
