Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Valeriu Irimia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Claus in the 3rd minute of play forced Santo CF's goalkeeper Alfonso Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Ruisko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Bernardo Gaizkine made a huge save. Santo CF's Valeriu Irimia got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Santo CF's Bernardo Gaizkine threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fulgencio Matteo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Baldomiro Palben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Santo CF defense, Hector Claus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Burni. The Santo CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Burni should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute of the match, Reynaldo Chorache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardo Gaizkine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 27th minute Santo CF were awarded a corner. Faustino Montxo went to the cornerflag to take it. Reynaldo Chorache was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, Santo CF's Reynaldo Chorache got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hector Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Burni having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Reynaldo Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santo CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Chorache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Yatasto getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Maximino Ioritz hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Claus was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hector Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yatasto's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Claus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Burni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yatasto made a substitution. Teofilo Caitano replaced Baldomiro Palben. In the 67th match minute, Santo CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Ur to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernardino Rozarius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfonso Burni. That made the score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. If Valeriu Irimia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yatasto made a substitution. Severino Phelipe replaced Hector Claus. Bernardo Gaizkine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeriu Irimia's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Santo CF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
