Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Itatí FC's Ricardo Ruisko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes of play, Goya AFC's Constantino Sotil made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Pueblo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iker Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Ongile kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Abarca in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Pueblo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Itatí FC's Donato Videl got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Basilio Berbiz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itatí FC's protests and gave Basilio Berbiz a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the match, Goya AFC's goalkeeper Anier Gabino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Cibran. Casimiro Cibran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Anier Gabino made a huge save. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Eloy Abarca sped through Itatí FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iker Pueblo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Iker Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Linares in the 51st minute of play. Constantino Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Iker Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Abarca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iker Pueblo came out and tried to block the shot, but Eloy Abarca slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 56th minute. Eloy Abarca in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iker Pueblo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Donato Videl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anier Gabino. Goya AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 70 played minutes Itatí FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Jurgi. The audience was convinced that Eloy Abarca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Pueblo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Constantino Sotil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Americo Jurgi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Eloy Abarcas short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Iker Pueblo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iker Pueblo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Constantino Sotil sent off a good shot on target. Constantino Sotil might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Pueblo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Sotil ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Abarca in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Pueblo saved Itatí FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Danilo Linares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Itatí FC's Iker Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Abarca in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Americo Jurgi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itatí FC and the Goya AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Itatí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. Goya AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
