Eloy Abarca had several of the Valle del Dragón F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Timoteo Otsando as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Ilazki during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Valle del Dragón F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Goya AFC:s goal. Timoteo Otsando went to the wrong direction when Eloy Abarca was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Eloy Abarca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Timoteo Otsando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Goya AFC's Eloy Abarca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Timoteo Otsando. That made the score 3-0 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Francis was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Valle del Dragón F.C. got a corner. Goya AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Venancio Heriberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Danilo Linares took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timoteo Otsando. Timoteo Otsando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Danilo Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Valle del Dragón F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Abarca came free, but Timoteo Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Venancio Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Urtun made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Danilo Linares however managed to control. When Constantino Sotil fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goya AFC's protests and gave Constantino Sotil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Goya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Sotil to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Valle del Dragón F.C. booed when Goya AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Lluis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Abarca in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timoteo Otsando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timoteo Otsando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88th play minutes Eloy Abarca shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Timoteo Otsando and just under the crossbar into goal. Goya AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Valle del Dragón F.C. for a fine match.
