Remigio Hermelando started the match with the kick off. Gervasio Rodas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Freddy Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walt's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Maureo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Eufemio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Hermelando in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Freddy Maureo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nemesio Eufemio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Maureo got free with Nemesio Eufemio in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Uzcudum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Hermelando came free, but Nemesio Eufemio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uzcudum FC's Nemesio Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Ostots in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Remigio Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uzcudum FC's Amancio Tomi got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uzcudum FC's Nemesio Eufemio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Uzcudum FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Remigio Hermelando fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fernando Formerio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hernan Elivareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzcudum FC. Severino Pedroso made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fidel Hitzeder however managed to control. Freddy Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nemesio Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Uzcudum FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Lazcano. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leonel Cebo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Hermelando in the 54th minute of play forced Uzcudum FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Eufemio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Uzcudum FC's Marcelino Chuan got a free kick in the 56th minute. Nemesio Eufemio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Maureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Remigio Hermelando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Eufemio. Uzcudum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Hermelando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Leonel Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
