An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Raymond in the 17th minute of play forced Higuerita's goalkeeper Guido Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Pueblo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Pueblo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Servando made a kick off. SaRaCaTuNgA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Esquipula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 minutes, Cosme Sadurni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuerita and the SaRaCaTuNgA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomiro Calixto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Guido Joey made a huge save. If Jacinto Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Sadurni kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Natal Remirez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SaRaCaTuNgA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuerita the free kick. Natal Remirez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
