The audience was convinced that Juan Ignazio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viggo Browall was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Esperanza 's zone, Hernan Breogan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Orkatz came out of the goal and Hernan Breogan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Angelo Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Juan Ignazio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Browall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Breogan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Orkatz. Pedro Orkatz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Viggo Browall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ignazio in the 19th minute of the match. Fausto Erramun kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Juan Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Viggo Browall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 23rd minute, but Viggo Browall got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lober City hanging dry this time. Gabriel Fix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Viggo Browall made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Lober City's goalkeeper Viggo Browall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Espiridion. Lober City's Viggo Browall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ignazio in the 31st minute of play. If Hernan Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34thth minute of the game Angelo Espiridion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lober City's Viggo Browall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Hernan Breogan put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Orkatz. Felix Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

With a little luck, Esperanza 's Pedro Orkatz got control of the ball when Adan Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 53 minutes Esperanza 's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimeno Txanton who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jimeno Txanton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esperanza 's Pedro Orkatz did a great save. In the 53rd minute, Gabriel Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Breogan in the 61st minute of play forced Esperanza 's goalkeeper Pedro Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Orkatz had great luck who in the 63rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Hernan Breogan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Lober City's Viggo Browall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ignazio in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Angelo Espiridion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza 's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Espiridion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viggo Browall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Breogan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Orkatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Lucio Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viggo Browall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ignazio in the 82nd minute of the match. Angelo Espiridion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Viggo Browall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viggo Browall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ignazio in the 89th minute of play. Angelo Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Browall having to interfere. Viggo Browall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ignazio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lober City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
