Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Severo Aznar made the kick off which started today's match. Lázaro Nerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Orkatz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Nerio ran back to his position shaking his head. If Juan Ignazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11thth minute of the game Juan Ignazio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vigilancia AFC's Alejandro Ekialde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Vigilancia AFC's Lázaro Nerio in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esperanza 's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute, Angelo Espiridion fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alejandro Ekialde, passed just outside the right post. Esperanza 's Pedro Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Nerio in the 19th minute of play. Pedro Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Ekialde was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Juan Ignazio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Ignazio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Severo Aznar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Nerio in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Orkatz saved Esperanza from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Vigilancia AFC's Lázaro Nerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Orkatz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Santos Raulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esperanza 's Pedro Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Aznar in the 40th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Juan Ignazio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Ignazio was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Juan Ignazio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vigilancia AFC's Alejandro Ekialde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Severo Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th match minute, Esperanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Fix to maneuver through the defense. Severo Aznar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Orkatz having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, Vigilancia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ignazio came free, but Alejandro Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vigilancia AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Manny was slow to take the kick. During this time Esperanza 's players had a chance to rest. Angelo Espiridion made a great header on Esperanza 's corner, it was just that Vigilancia AFC's Alejandro Ekialde managed to reach the ball for a save. Vigilancia AFC's Severo Aznar got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Santos Raulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Aznar in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Orkatz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Esperanza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vigilancia AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
