Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ahrenfeld AFC's Raimundo Bermudez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of CA River Plate booed when Ahrenfeld AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Vaha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Tord Bergman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Bastia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Albino Bastia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Bermudez went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the match, Vítor Guerreiro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of CA River Plate's Albino Bastia. Albino Bastia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Monte made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Beniamin Panikowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA River Plate and the Ahrenfeld AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. CA River Plate's Albino Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Guerreiro in the 53rd minute of play. Vítor Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Albino Bastia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CA River Plate's Donato Monte got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cecilio Bartolome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gregorio Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Raimundo Bermudez rounded CA River Plate's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. CA River Plate's Albino Bastia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save CA River Plate from getting a goal against them. Albino Bastia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Bergman in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Anacleto Bidari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahrenfeld AFC the free kick. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Ahrenfeld AFC. Ruben Matai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Albino Bastia. 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisito Maidana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albino Bastia. That made the score 0-7 in the 75 minute of play. Albino Bastia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Bermudez in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Monte in the 81st minute of play forced Ahrenfeld AFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Bermudez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Albino Bastia made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Lucas Bibiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albino Bastia, 0-8. Sergio Illan struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gregorio Bortzaioriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA River Plate. Albino Bastia made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Raimundo Bermudez sent off a good shot on target. The Ahrenfeld AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
