Camilo Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Cresenciano in the 5th minute of play. Camilo Pelagius didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Muno got free with Camilo Pelagius in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Nereo Muno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Pelagius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 21st minute Samuel Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C. A. Urquiza getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Samuel Abeitia hit a great ball. The supporters of Riestra FC booed when C. A. Urquiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Abeitia charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Abeitia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C. A. Urquiza getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Urquiza 's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Cresenciano came free, but Camilo Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Pelagius having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Lizar to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Sal in the 54th minute of play forced C. A. Urquiza 's goalkeeper Camilo Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Urquiza 's Camilo Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Cresenciano in the 60th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Nereo Muno in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Muno in the 66th minute of play forced C. A. Urquiza 's goalkeeper Camilo Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Sal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Pelagius was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Riestra FC defense, Fausto Veto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Gergori. The Riestra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Gergori should have stopped the shot. Camilo Pelagius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Sal's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Riestra FC's Nereo Muno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Pelagius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. If Samuel Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute Gregorio Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Pelagius having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C. A. Urquiza 's Samuel Abeitia got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Nereo Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riestra FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
