The Western Province fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Western Province's Hipolito Hulberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Western Province from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Vidal in the 13th minute of play forced Riestra FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Gergori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Gilesindo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Gilesindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Riestra FC booed when Western Province was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hipolito Hulberto made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gregorio Sal sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Cipriano Valery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Gergori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Loi might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Hulberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Loi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Western Province's goalkeeper Hipolito Hulberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladimiro Gergori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ambrosio Oinatz lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Western Province a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teo Pueblo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Riestra FC's Vladimiro Gergori. 2-2. After 47 played minutes Western Province got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Urtats. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Riestra FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Cipriano Valery scored to the left of an out of position Vladimiro Gergori, making the score, 2-3. In the 54th minute Nereo Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Western Province! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Riestra FC. Samuel Loi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hipolito Hulberto. 3-3. The Riestra FC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Riestra FC's Gregorio Sal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hipolito Hulberto came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Riestra FC's Gregorio Sal. But to his dismay, Gregorio Sal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Melquiades Sugoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vladimiro Gergori could save by the left post. Gregorio Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Hulberto having to interfere. Gilberto Benitez kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Western Province got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Inko. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Riestra FC fully deserved thier win.
