Adan Mikelats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Esteves in the 3rd minute of the match. Adan Mikelats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Erramu went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Serafino Chago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Bela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute River Plate were awarded a corner. Rosendo Caitano went to the cornerflag to take it. If Anibal Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A Central Norte Chaco's Serafino Chago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save C.A Central Norte Chaco from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Confesor during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 36 minutes into the game, one of C.A Central Norte Chaco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 42 minutes, Mauricio Bela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Bela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, C.A Central Norte Chaco's goalkeeper Serafino Chago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Ticho. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mauricio Bela made the kick off in the second half. Adan Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Silvino in the 51st minute of play. Serafino Chago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Bertran, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Rosendo Caitano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A Central Norte Chaco's Serafino Chago didn't even have to move. Anibal Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A Central Norte Chaco made a substitution. Emilio Panfilo replaced Eriberto Chap. In the 70th minute, Anibal Ticho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Mikelats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Silvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafino Chago came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Anibal Ticho. But to his dismay, Anibal Ticho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Silvino got free with Adan Mikelats in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Serafino Chago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A Central Norte Chaco made a substitution. Bruno Padro replaced Domingos Silvino. In the 87th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Zádor to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Frasquito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Erramu got free with Adan Mikelats in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the C.A Central Norte Chaco players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River Plate.
