Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Pereyra in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 5 minutes, Rolando Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jumialito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Opilano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 played minutes, Jumialito AFC's Leandro Urti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Cabral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jumialito AFC reached it. 9 minutes into the match, Celso Lia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fermin Medero. Jumialito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Lia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erasmo Pereyra in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Cabral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ismael Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Abreu made a kick off. The long shot by Angelino Benvido in the 58th minute really tested Fermin Medero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eduardo Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Montoyiyo F.C.'s zone, Erasmo Pereyra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Cabral came out of the goal and Erasmo Pereyra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jumialito AFC's Leandro Urti got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jumialito AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Natalio Abreu 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Fermin Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Ismael Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Pereyra in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Erasmo Pereyra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montoyiyo F.C.'s Bruno Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes, Celso Lia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montoyiyo F.C. and the Jumialito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Montoyiyo F.C.'s Bruno Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Pereyra in the 91st minute of play. If Rolando Opilano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montoyiyo F.C.'s Amador Cilio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Lia in the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Amador Cilio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fermin Medero. Jumialito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Cilio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Jumialito AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
