Dariusz Zalipski came out of the goal and Eleuterio Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dariusz Zalipski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Abechuco in the 4th minute of the match. Everardo Endura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Papo in the 6th minute. Casimiro Perfecto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Enrique Guzman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Velloso F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mufasa the free kick. Enrique Guzman hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Mufasa's Everardo Endura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mufasa from getting a goal against them. Dariusz Zalipski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Leopoldo Abechuco took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Zalipski. Dariusz Zalipski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 38 played minutes Faustino Orzaize rounded Mufasa's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Leopoldo Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dariusz Zalipski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Velloso F.C.'s Everardo Endura threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Faustino Orzaize, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Abechuco was the one to do the kick off. Everardo Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Orzaize in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes, Velloso F.C.'s Marcelo Unai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Everardo Endura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Velloso F.C. reached it. A collision led to Velloso F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marcelo Unai hit a great ball. If Leopoldo Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mufasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Aballe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Guzman hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Mufasa's Iker Maura was substituted for Leopoldo Abechuco. After 77 played minutes Velloso F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Guzman. Velloso F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Iker Maura scored to the left of an out of position Dariusz Zalipski, making the score, 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, Velloso F.C.'s Faustino Orzaize sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Endura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Orzaize in the 88th minute of play forced Mufasa's goalkeeper Everardo Endura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hermengildo Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Iker Maura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dariusz Zalipski. Iker Maura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mufasa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
