Gaspar Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Argina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Ariel Hurko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Chacarita Juniors getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Filomeno Jusepe hit a great ball. Gaspar Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Hurko made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Gaspar Argina sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gaspar Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Diaz Velez's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Argina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Hurko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavino Berbiz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Berbiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Villa Diaz Velez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Isidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Isidro Orlondon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaspar Argina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ariel Hurko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vladimiro Lorencio came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Villa Diaz Velez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Lorencio couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Chacarita Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Argina came free, but Ariel Hurko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Juniors's zone, Gaspar Argina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Hurko came out of the goal and Gaspar Argina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Argina struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Ariel Hurko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Diaz Velez. Anibal Cefero was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gaspar Argina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ariel Hurko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Diaz Velez's Gaspar Argina got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Vladimiro Lorencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Hurko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gaspar Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Diaz Velez had played much better football throughout.
