Gaston Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Frick, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cirilo Savion hit a great ball. The supporters of Grande el fortin booed when RiverPlate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Frick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Tercero was a little too slow when Tadeo Benino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 4-3. Gustavo Martxot scored 4-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Tercero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Despite being the better team, Grande el fortin failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
