In the 16th minute, Racing Club's Dionisio Vargas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Rogelio Dalmu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Ireno in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Mauricio Perutxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cavour AFC's Gaston Txeru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Cavour AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Gerazan during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Cavour AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Gerazan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Louis in the 32nd minute of play forced Cavour AFC's goalkeeper Gaston Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Isidoro Iliana hit a great ball. Cavour AFC's Gaston Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Louis in the 41st minute of play. Rogelio Dalmu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Ireno in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Ireno to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogelio Dalmu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Gerazan in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Ireno came free, but Rogelio Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Dalmu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Ireno in the 57th minute of play. Cavour AFC's Gaston Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Iliana in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Cavour AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Clis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cavour AFC's Mateo Gerazan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rogelio Dalmu. That made the score 3-2 after 68 minutes of play. Racing Club's Isidoro Iliana got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Gerazan got free with Rogelio Dalmu in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Dionisio Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Louis in the 82nd minute of play forced Cavour AFC's goalkeeper Gaston Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 87 minutes, Rafael Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavour AFC and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cavour AFC's Rafael Osorio got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Louis in the 91st minute of play forced Cavour AFC's goalkeeper Gaston Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Iliana scored 5-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Txeru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Lia to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Racing Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
