The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leicester City FC's Isidro Indalecio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Leicester City FC from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Leicester City FC's goalkeeper Isidro Indalecio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Avellaneda. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Atreucó:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leicester City FC:s goal. Horacio Harriet hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Leicester City FC's Isidro Indalecio got control of the ball when Martin Avellaneda tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 24 minutes on the clock, Florian Rivera commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 24th minute, one of Leicester City FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leicester City FC. Isidro Indalecio had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Arnaldo Manilan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Leicester City FC defense, Arnaldo Manilan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Indalecio. The Leicester City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Indalecio should have stopped the shot. Leicester City FC's Isidro Indalecio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Cordaro in the 28th minute of play. Atreucó's Victor Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Eguen in the 30th minute of play. Julio Eguen's late challenge caught a Atreucó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Avellaneda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Isidro Indalecio made a huge save. In the 40thth minute of the game Julio Eguen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atreucó's Victor Tello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gualterio Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atreucó's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Cordaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Indalecio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Tello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Eguen in the 46th minute of the match. Erubiel Oliveiro charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Oliveiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julio Eguen made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Leicester City FC's Julio Eguen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Tello. That made the score 1-1 after 61 minutes of play. In the 64th match minute, Atreucó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Manilan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Cristobal Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Tello made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Julio Eguen sent off a good shot on target. Julio Eguen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Victor Tello made a huge save. Isidro Indalecio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Avellaneda in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Atreucó's Victor Tello got control of the ball when Julio Eguen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Tello came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester City FC's Julio Eguen. But to his dismay, Julio Eguen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 89 minutes into the match, Leicester City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Santos came free, but Isidro Indalecio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atreucó's goalkeeper Victor Tello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Julio Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Leicester City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Eguen couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Julio Eguen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cristobal Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atreucó's protests and gave Cristobal Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atreucó's Cristobal Garcia got a free kick in the 98th minute. The Atreucó fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leicester City FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
