But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Urtsin couldn't finish the play. Remo Conti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Isidro Indalecio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Dabi struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Garikoitz Planes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leicester City FC. In the 26th minute Nicanor Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garikoitz Planes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leicester City FC's Lucas Naike got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester City FC's zone, Remo Conti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Indalecio came out of the goal and Remo Conti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of DELUXE 1982 booed when Leicester City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Frutos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Leicester City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Urtsin came free, but Isidro Indalecio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Urtsin was the one to do the kick off. Isidro Indalecio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Urtsin in the 52nd minute of play. Ismael Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The referee ignored DELUXE 1982's protests and gave Rigoberto Urtsin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DELUXE 1982's Rigoberto Urtsin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Isidro Indalecio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garikoitz Planes having to interfere. Julio Eguen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Garikoitz Planes made a huge save. The supporters of Leicester City FC booed when DELUXE 1982 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Harriet might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garikoitz Planes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horacio Harriet ran back to his position shaking his head. DELUXE 1982's Garikoitz Planes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save DELUXE 1982 from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Urtsin in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Indalecio saved Leicester City FC from getting behind. With a little luck, DELUXE 1982's Garikoitz Planes got control of the ball when Julio Eguen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severiano Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Leicester City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Urtsin came free, but Isidro Indalecio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
