Mburucuyá FC's Sergio Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Lucian in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mburucuyá FC's Guillermo Cesario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Carlos Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Lucian in the 22nd minute of the match. Tabacal FC's Evelio Jerano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Tabacal FC from getting a goal against them. Carlos Ostots struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Sergio Osasun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabacal FC. Isidro Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Rene Manny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sergio Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Ostots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Carlos Orlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sergio Osasun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Carlos Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Isidro Lucian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 49th minute Isidro Lucian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 49 minutes into the match, Isidro Lucian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Osasun. Mburucuyá FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Lucian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Ostots was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Sein during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Tabacal FC's Carlos Orlan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sergio Osasun. That made the score 1-3 after 68 minutes of play. Carlos Ostots might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Osasun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Ostots ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidro Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Carlos Ostots managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabacal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Ostots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Osasun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute of the match Marcelino Abeijon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Jerano skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 91 in the game by Carlos Ostots from a close distance when the talented Sergio Osasun managed to make a qualified save. Mburucuyá FC's players were relieved. Carlos Orlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Osasun having to interfere. Carlos Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Tabacal FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mburucuyá FC.
